Sunday, May 12, 2002, the inaugural worship service for a new ministry was held at mama koko hotel, 20, Apena Street, Surulere, Lagos. It is a ministry on a mission and that mission is to passionately enforce the authority of the word of God, subduing all things under him through the display of manifold wisdom, judgement, justice and mercy, thereby, bringing order, peace and dominion in the lives of the saints. That ministry is no other than CHRIST IMPERIAL WORLD MISSION, a.k.a Governmental Tabernacle.
We cannot but thank God for his faithfulness towards us at Governmental Tabernacle. In the words of the Psalmist, “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side when men rose up against us, then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us, the stream had gone over our soul, then the proud waters have gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord who hath not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers, the snare is broken and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 128:2-8).
Pastor Harrison Bayagbon is a seasoned administrator and financial expert. He currently works for Encomiums Ventures Ltd, publishers of Encomium Weekly, Encomium Special and Encomium Lifestyle, where he is the Director for Finance and Administration.
Our mission is to passionately enforce the authority of the word of God (Kingdom), subduing all things under Him, through the display of manifold wisdom, judgement, justice and mercy thereby bringing order, peace and dominion in the life of a saint.
Our vision is to project and establish the kingdom of God, principles, natures, leadership, power and glory on Earth.
We believe that the bible is the inspired ( God breathed ) infallible ( all true ) and inerrant (without error or contradiction) Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in faith and practice.
God the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
I will be a great man.
